Installation and configuration

Manual installation.
1. Unzip archive files.
2. Download extracted files to '/wp-content/plugins/' directory.
3. Activate plugin in WordPress administration (menu 'Plugins').
4. Modify '/wp-content/plugins/pedigree/pedigree.css' file to adapt to the pedigree style.

Use

In the article simply inster the tag with the parameter. WordPress loads and inserts the pedigree. The pedigree is inserted when the page is generated (when the final user loads it) and not on its record. So the pedigree is always up to date.

[pedigree id=nnnn] with nnnn is the identifier of the pedigree.

Sample

In the database, we have the pedigree of a dog "Vérone". The page address appears in a web browser as: http://pedigree.setter-anglais.fr/genealogie/arbre.php?id=2520&fn=pedigree&rq=VERONE
In the database, we have the pedigree of a dog "Vérone". The page address appears in a web browser as:
http://pedigree.setter-anglais.fr/genealogie/arbre.php?id=2520&fn=pedigree&rq=VERONE

Pedigree identifier is 2520. To insert pedigree in the article, write:
{pedigree id="2520"}

When the article is displayed, Joomla replace the code by the complete dog pedigree page.

Use of Virtual Mating

Prepare your virtual mating on the pedigree database website (setter-anglais.fr). Copy data of the "Link" field. Paste it into url parameter in [portee url=xxx].

Example:
